Painting your 3D wall panels is a great way to customize and enhance the aesthetic of your space. Here are the steps to ensure a successful and professional finish: 1. Prepare the Panels: Before you begin painting, wipe down the 3D wall panels with a damp cloth to remove any dust or debris. Allow the panels to dry completely. 2. Choose the Right Paint: We recommend using a high-quality water based paint for the best results. These paints offer flexibility and durability, perfectly suited for our polyurethane 3D wall panels. 3. Painting: Using a brush or spray gun / rattle can, apply the first coat of paint evenly across the panels. Ensure you cover all crevices and textures of the 3D design. Allow the first coat to dry thoroughly. 4. Second Coat: For a more vibrant and uniform finish, apply a second coat of paint once the first coat is entirely dry. This layer will enhance the colour and depth of the panels. 5. Final Touches: Inspect the painted panels for any missed spots or uneven areas. Use a smaller brush for any touch-ups. Once satisfied, let the panels dry completely before handling or installing them. For further details see our installation page including helpful videos for the perfect finish.
